Welcome to our website, Foel gasnach situated within Clocaenog forest in North Wales was started in 2005 after the closure of the local "Scousers" track in Llangwyfan, with nowhere for local riders to ride one group of enthusiastic riders took it upon theirselves to start a club and work closely with Forestry Commission Wales to build and manage a permanent Downhill mountain biking facility.
To help ensure the future of the Foel gasnach downhill facility, riders are required to join the FDHR club at a cost of £10 per 12 months, this keeps the downhill tracks open by paying for trail maintenence, insurances and many other costs incurred runnning the facility.
